Congrats on getting engaged! I know from experience how hard it can be to find the perfect person to marry, so let’s make your wedding planning process really easy! From our first meeting to when you receive your images, I strive to make the process a great experience. I understand that every wedding and event is unique. Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Southern California and Kansas City, MO. I do not charge for travel unless it is over 150 miles from downtown Los Angeles or 100 miles from downtown Kansas City.

How long have you been a photographer?
I have been photographing weddings since 2008 and portraits since 2006.

Do you have a specific style?
I am a natural light photographer. My goal is to strive for a clean, editorial and photojournalistic look. I love color and I’m always looking for unique locations

How far in advance do I have to book my wedding?
I usually book weddings a year in advance. I book on a first come first serve basis. I’m ready! Where do we begin? To book your date, I require ½ of the package price, a signed contract.

What is a first look?
I love doing a first look with my couples because it allows them to have a private moment to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. It gives them time to fully check each other out, to be emotional with each other and I think it ultimately leads to a more stress free day. Couples who chose to do a first look get to spend more of their wedding day together, and have more time, if desired, during their cocktail hour to spend with guests.

Do you have insurance and backup equipment?
Yes I do! I have insurance to protect me and to protect you. I also have backup equipment that I bring with me in case any of my gear fails during a shoot.

Do you help create a wedding day timeline with me?
Absolutely! I always say that communication is the key to making a great wedding. We will chat over all of your details, and then decide what works best for you. I will also help you create photo lists that let me know everything from who you’d like in your family photos, to which detail images you’d like. Once I know everything that you’re looking for, I will give you a clear idea of how much time I need for each section of the day. If you have hired a wedding coordinator, I will always reach out to them beforehand to chat through details and send them my photo timeline so they know exactly where we will be. If you are not planning on hiring a wedding coordinator, no worries! I will step in and help keep you on time.

How long until we receive our images?
I will deliver your images in 2-4 weeks. Do you edit all the images? Most definitely! I will color correct and maximize the exposure on any image you receive from me. You will also be able to select images that you would like additional editing on.

How many images will we receive from you?
Every wedding is a little different and because of this the number of images I shoot is never the same. On average for an 8 hour wedding, you will receive at a minimum 1,000 images. For an average engagement session or family session you will receive at a minimum 80 images.
