Every now and then a wedding comes along that I absolutely cannot wait to share! I love everything about this quirky wedding. Hayley and Nick had their party animal themed wedding at the Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles. When they first approached me to shoot their wedding I was so excited because I’ve wanted to shoot at the Smog Shoppe before we even had ever moved to Los Angeles. I had noticed it featured on several of my favorite wedding blogs that I follow and loved the eclectic and vintage decor and thought it was such a cool idea to turn an old smog mechanic shop into a really cool event venue.
I have so many great things to say about Rachel and Ben. They are the sweetest couple and their friends and family have been some of the nicest people I’ve ever worked with. Before the wedding, Rachel, Ben and I discussed what they were looking for via lots of emails because the live in NYC. After hearing about their venue and doing a little research on it, I learned it’s a fairly new venue in Los Angeles. Wattles Mansion,
I LOVE DISNEYLAND! When Jared and Karen approached me about photographing their engagement session at Disneyland I was so excited! I mean can you think of a more fun location?

I had the most charming day with a couple that I originally met in Kansas City. Mandy and Phil, like my husband, Will and I, recently moved from Kansas City to Los Angeles. Mandy and I previously worked together at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre on the production of Cabaret. Mandy was performing in the show, and I was working on the wig and wardrobe crew.
