My favorite beach in Los Angeles is Playa Del Rey beach. I love that when I go there usually isn’t a ton of people and also I love that it’s one of the closest beaches to where I live. When Amy and Eric told me that they wanted to shoot their engagement session at Playa Del Rey beach, I was really excited. Whenever I’m out and about, I always try to notice great spots for future shoots, and because of this and my love for the area, I had a bunch of ideas.
My cousin Tom, who is several years younger than me on my Mom’s side of the family, is getting married to his beautiful fiancé Abby. Being able to photograph family members is probably one of my favorite things. Tom and Abby live in Omaha, but were kind enough to drive down to Weston, Missouri to meet me. Weston is a small adorable little town just north of Kansas City.
I’m so excited to share this joyful wedding at the beautiful Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano. When I think of Mandy and Phil’s wedding, one word comes into mind…JOY
After shooting Ruzelle and Spencer’s engagement session a couple months ago in the arts district downtown, I couldn’t wait to shoot their New Years Eve wedding at Studio 1342. Studio 1342 is one of those venues that I get super excited about. I love the graphic murals, quirky hub cap wall and of course I love the fact that when it’s not a wedding venue…it’s a photo studio.
Happy Thursday! I can’t wait to share this beautiful maternity session at The South Coast Botanic Garden for my lovely friend Lauren and her fiancé Bryan. When Lauren told me she was pregnant, I was so excited! I first met Lauren when we both were working for Shawna Yamamoto Event Design.
